Something I find amusing (XD)

Mystery scene in the extra footage of the Charlie Chaplin film, “The Circus” (1928). The snippet of video has gone viral now. But, I do find it amusing that such a simple clip can stir up so much controversy. Mr. Clarke is not the only one that seems to believe it is a time traveler using a cell phone. It would be a rather old clunky cell phone, if it was one. It’s been suggested that the object is most likely one of the early (advanced type model) hearing aid. Though, who that man/woman is talking to is a mystery, as he/she stops to continue talking, so it can’t be the man that walked by earlier, as he was walking with the body language of one walking alone. And, yes, I think it is a man in drag because the hands are shaped, and sized, like those of a man. Compare how he/she walks to the man who walked by first.

(L) On the set of the film "The Circus" and an Chapman when older.

At any rate, I did research when the first modern wireless phones were patented and invented. There were some wireless “phones” (said to really be radios) patented as early as 1908 in the US. Some old US patents are here for more personal edification upon the subject:  http://www.patent-invent.com/mobile_phone_patent.html

I don’t believe in time travel. I really wish it were true, as there are a lot of things I would like to change about the world and the lives of people I know. I mean, who doesn’t want to go back and warn themselves to not make the same mistakes or to do something sooner, or hey, why not just change history while we’re at it! (And, don’t think I wouldn’t!)

That explains it all...

Check it out and give me your comments about it. Do you believe in time travel? What do you think that object is and do you have proof?

Ah, Paradox...that is the question, is it not?

And, if you’d like to know more about the theory of time travel, here are a few amusing sites.  http://www.andersoninstitute.com/default.asp
